Description
Ruta Andina is a project led by AGI AMBIENTAL and supported by the organizational core of Santander Carbono Neutro and the involvement of more than 60 cocoa and palm oil producers; the objective of RUTA ANDINA is the management of good productive practices framed in low-carbon systems, additionally, the generation of capacities to guarantee the conservation of strategic natural areas, whose work has been developed since July 1, 2022. Within the organizational pillars of transparency and climate justice, RUTA ANDINA impacts communities through socioeconomic benefits and the articulation of climate mitigation and adaptation by financing the sale of carbon credits for the removal and reduction of GHG emissions.
