Description
The Orinoquía Curlew Forestry Project is an initiative of grouped projects developed by CO2CERO SAS, whose objective is the removal of greenhouse gases (GHG) through up to 8,000 eligible hectares of forest plantations in the Colombian Orinoquia, during a period of twenty (20) years from 2018, the year in which reforestation activities, management and increase of carbon reserves began. The Forestry Project is located in the departments of Meta and Vichada, but it plans to cover a reforestation area in the department of Casanare.
It is established as a grouped project, generating links between areas and new participants in subsequent verification stages, provided that these reforestation areas comply with the rules and procedures determined for this type of initiative.
