Description
Reduction of emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in 272,129.62 hectares of tropical humid forest, in the Colombian Amazon, belonging to the indigenous reservations of Nonuya de Villazul and Amenanae MesaiThe Nonuya Indigenous Reservation of Villa Azul is recognized by Resolution 034 of theApril 6, 1988 of INCORA, and expanded under Agreement No. 205 of December 29
of INCODER 2009, therefore, the scope of application of this regulation is that described in the pertinent administrative acts, and is established for the communities of Villazul and Peña Roja.
The territorial governance system is based on the fact that a first preliminary work has already been carried out on how the construction of the life plan of the Nonuya people (Peña Roja community) and the Muinane people (Villa Azul Community) is being planned.
