The “Small-scale renewable energy projects in Chile” is a grouped initiative that integrates renewable energy sources in Chile, each with a capacity of up to 15 MW. It applies the AMS-I.D “Grid Connected Renewable Electricity Generation” methodology to ensure measurable reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. The first instance of the project is the Quetena Solar Park, located near Calama city, with an effective installed capacity of 9 MW.
